This 2016 campaign to help get Chelsea out of jail was based around seeking to get US presidential candidate Hilary Clinton to commit to giving Chelsea a pardon when she gained office. [Yes, we got that one wrong!]

Chelsea had been given a 35 -year sentence for leaking information about the US interfering with other countries. The video of a US Gunship executing random civilians, including Reuters journalists, getting out of a car in Baghdad, Iraq, shocked and horrified the world. Chelsea won the Whistleblower of the Year Award in 2016 -see the video – Blueprint Awards 2016 – Chelsea Manning Award 7 mins. KnS was there, making the video, and promoting the NHS Whistleblower hotline campaign.
As we all know, Chelsea was given a pardon in his last act as President before Trump took over. Justice and common sense prevailed.
It’s always worth making a fuss.
